Reading and conversations will strengthen your understanding around what it means to genuinely recognise others, and what it means to approach coaching with conscious intention — showing up with authenticity, respect, and integrity in every session to support real and lasting change.
Diversity and culture are essential dimensions of effective coaching practice. This module examines how unconscious bias and cultural conditioning shape perception, decision making, and the coaching relationship.
Accountability is a key part of coaching, but it is often confused with responsibility. While related, they are not the same. Understanding the difference helps coaches set clear boundaries and support meaningful client growth.
Of all the positive communication tools coaches employ, acknowledgement stands apart. It is the act of naming something observable and positive about the client, their actions, or their way of approaching a situation, without adding interpretation, judgment, or opinion.
Intent is an interesting concept. Broadly, it describes the inner stance or determination about how you are going to be in a situation. It’s the quality or attitude you choose to bring to a given situation e.g., curious, supportive, analytical, firm, generous, assertive.
