BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

your Coaching Model

Overview

Your Coaching Model is a representation of your values, core practices, personal profile, philosophies, and beliefs related to your coaching work. It is a depiction that frames your  coaching process and communicates who you are as a practicing coach.

Many schools teach one single model to all coaches. At ICA, we believe that coaches in our global, multicultural student body are better served by creating their own model.

Requirements

Create Your Coaching Model

Your individual Coaching Model is a representation of who you are as a coach. It serves as a reflection of your values, core practices, personal strengths, philosophies, and beliefs. It integrates your past experience and it is tailored to meet the needs of the clients you will coach.

In this video we explain the difference between the ICA approach to Coaching Models vs. off the shelf models like the GROW model.

Zoom Sessions

Only students in the Level 2 (Premium or Advanced) and Level 1 (Advanced) hold eligibility to attend classes for this Course area.  For other students, this is a ‘read only’ module.

Finding Sessions in the Schedule

These sessions will appear in every time zone at last once throughout your member period.  This will include a morning, afternoon, evening and weekend option. If you miss a session you can take it another week at a different time.

The schedule is linked from the top menu on this page.

Create Your Coaching Model

When you develop your own coaching model you are not just creating a process, you are crafting a lens through which you will help clients see themselves and their world more clearly. Your model will be a reflection of how you naturally think, what questions you instinctively ask, and where you guide people when they’re stuck.
